The Drag Tray
Designed by stalkers for stalkers, and combining experience from both professional and recreational deer managers, we believe we’ve managed to produce a tray that meets most of the key needs of a stalker in the field.
Our Drag Tray (also known around Europe as a Wildwanne, Vildtslæde, Viltpulk or Riistan pulk) is one of the largest currently available, measuring 1280mm x 820mm x 260mm and weighing 9 kilogrammes. It has a 40mm lip all the way round, which is strong enough that it can be used to lift the entire tray even when loaded. Made from one sheet of moulded non-porous polypropylene plastic, there are no joins or cracks where dirt can accumulate.
Moulded into the tray there are eight (8) gullies that are 30mm wide and 20mm deep which keep fluids separate from the load. On the outside of the Drag Tray these gullies help to reduce the drag resistance when moving a full load.

Key properties of polypropylene:
- Impact resistant
- Oil and chemical resistant
- Heat resistant to +100° C
- Frost-proof to -40° C
- Excellent hinge properties
- Capable of floating
- Food friendly
For pulling the Drag Tray, an 18mm thick polypropylene rope is attached by heavy duty galvanised wire rope grips, a front batten, two internal battens, stainless steel washers and dome nuts - designed to be weather resistant and food friendly. The rope and fasteners are strong enough to be used to pull a fully-loaded drag tray, either by hand or attached to a vehicle.
The Drag Tray has been designed, developed and tested rigourously to ensure its fit for purpose.
The Drag Tray is supplied in 'kit-form' for delivery purposes, the handle and fasteners are all supplied but not attached to the main body of the Drag Tray; assembly is very straightforward and instructions are provided.
